Recipe rice nature

Ingredients :

For 4 people :
500g of rice
A teaspoon of salt
With 75cl of water

Preparation :

Heat the water in a saucepan. Add the washed rice and the salt. You can try to find out if it’s salty enough for you. Stir and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

At the end of cooking, to be sure that the rice is cooked, take some grains and crush them between the fingers. If they are perfectly soft, then the rice is cooked. Otherwise, cook for a few more minutes. If you notice that it’s dry, you can add a few tablespoons of water, mix and cook for a few more minutes.

Tips :

– Add a knob of butter to make rice less sticky and very flavoured.
– You can do the preparation in the microwave. In this case, no need to wait until the water is hot. Put the water in a microwaveable cookware, add the rice and some salt. And cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
