My detailled recipe of rice sauteed with shrimp
Fried rice with shrimp, thaht’s what i did on a Saturday afternoon, there’s a few weeks now, enjoy inspiring me from the Asian version, but with much less fat.
I made a verson to Senegalese by adding nokoss, this mixture of onion, bouillon cube and spices. On arrival …it was excellent ! But really. You know when a dish is so good that you pick it up again and again.
I ate it at lunch and dinner so it was good. And the whole family enjoyed it. I cut the shrimp in very small pieces for my son and he has eaten well enough to take back.
The difficulty of this recipe lies in cooking the rice. First you have to choose non-stick rice and then measure the quantity of water. I sshould not be thaht the rice is sticky.
For that it is better to put very little water and to add it if need rather than to put too much in beginning. And also make sure you choose quality rice for your convenience. About me i took Basmati rice incollable.
Also be careful to marinate the shrimp with salt, garlic ans many spices and take this time by letting them marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Then, to cook them in frying pan with a little oïl. And finally cooking we add a little shrimp with a sweet side. It’s just delicious !
This dish is so excellent that more disgusting family, do not hesitate to do when you receive guests. Just choose a good quality rice and shrimp and take your time and you’re done.
Ending, to give in balanced/ dietary side, i Added green beans that i cut into pieces of just 1 cm long, as well as small cubes of caroots.
It’s really a good dish, balanced, that the whole family can enjoy.

Ingrédients :
400 g NONmassable Basmati rice
400 g cooked shelled shrimps
Oil
1 large onion
Salt
1 broth cube maggi
Pepper chili
Powder garlic orr a few cloves garlic
Ginger
2 bay leaves
1 lemon
1 tablespoon
Honey
2 carrots
100 g green beans (and /or fresh peas)
2 green onions (the green part)
Préparation :
Marinade shrimp
First marinate shrimps put them in a bowl.Add a teaspoon of gerlic powder of chili pepper and Ginger powder. Add lemon juice.Salt and mix. Cover with a film and pu in fresh. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
Pre-cooking rice
Meanwhile, prepare the rice. Put a drizzlr of oïl in a pan (about 5cl). Add 1/2 onion, finely chopped and a little garlic (a crushed garlic clove or a teaspoon). Leave to color for 2 minutes.
Then add the rice. Mix and cook for 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
During this time, prepare the nokoss by mixing the remaining 1/2 onion with garlic or a teaspoon powder), a little pepper, pepper, Ginger, salt and leave bouillon cube maggi. Mix well. Add this mixture to the rice . Mix and cook for about 3 minutes. It colors the rice. A very good smell begins to emerge.
Then add 50 cl of water. Salt. Mix and add the bay leaves. Cook for 10 minutes over medium heat and remove from heat.
Cooking vegetables peel the carrots. Cut them in 4 Following the lengh then in very small dice. Cut the green beans into small pieces and set aside. So you put little fish, you must steam them and reserve them . Heat a drizzle of oïl (about 5 cl ) in a pan. Add carrot dices and cook for about 3 minutes on low heat.
Remove the cooked carrots and reserve the cooked carrots with the small steamed and green beans. There is ,o need to pre-bean , we put them directly in the rice.
Cooking shrimps
Put the shrimp in the remaining oïl used to cook the carrots. You can add a little oïl if it is not enough).
Leave for at least 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Then add to honey soup. Leave on theheat for just 2 minutes, just before the shrimp begin to caramelize.
Then remove the shrimp, put in a bowl and reserve
Cooking rice.
Put the shrimp cooking juice in the rice casserole
Mix and add 50 cl of water. Measure the amount of water according to the type of rice. Put some water and add only if necessary. Taste and add salt if needed. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the vegetables (carrots, peas,beans.)
Mix and cook for 10 minutes over very low heat. Add the finely chopped green onion branch. Reserve the other branch for dressage.
Then add half of the shrimp. Reserve the other half for trainning.
Mix and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. The dish is ready.
Service
Serce sauteed shrimp that were reserved below. Sprinkle with finely chopped green onion (the green part).
